    stuttering

Just wandering, using the latest firmware, why there is a difference between two Blu Ray disks when playing. One is playing fine, the other plays with stuttering ( not in frames, but in some moves). This problem also occure on normal dvd's. My TV is a Samsung es8000 and my blu ray offcourse a BDP9700

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Fotofiel,

What do you mean by saying 'this problem also occure on normal dvd's'? do you mean that you have the stutter effect while playing some (but not all) DVDs? Since other discs are playing without any problems, it simply might be the DVDs' fault- the disc might be old/damaged/scratched/incompatibile. Think this makes sense?
    Cheers,
    WW

    HI William W

No, it is difficult to write down the problem, it has nothing to do with the age of a dvd, I'll try to figure it out to write it down more secure

    Thanks for your answer

perhaps this will help in some way. Some dvd and blu ray are playing smoother than others, the moves from persons are smoother.

    Hi,

this could be also a problem of the TV displaying 1080/24p content (in case of BDs).

However, I also heard, that people have a small "stuttering" while watching BDs on BDP9700. It's not reproducible...

hi fotofiel, is this an 'old' behavior or it came only with the new firmware upgrade?

    Dear fotofiel,

this seem to be a disc playability issue. Would you be able to provide us with the EAN code of the disc?

Thank you very much and looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

    Hi Tereza
Just got out of chat with a collagaue of you, they will repair the things, but EAN codes are the barcodes on the back of the cover? I'll give you 2 of them one Blu ray and one DVD. bluray: 713045228859
DVD: 2564619822. This is what you needed?

    Regards

    Marc

    Dear users,

As you may already notice from the other thread of 3.85.10 upgrade of BDP9700, this issue is reproducible by the development team. We will fix this issue in the future firmware but there are not enough time for us to include this in the next firmware which will be available a few weeks later.

Thanks for your understanding in advance.
