    How to connect TV to analog surround amplifier?

    I read in the manual that the L/R to CINCH connector (not included) should be used, in case the amplifier does not have an optical in. So I bought the cable, but I do not receive a signal in the receiver. In the TV, the error message is "external speakers on" fail; switch to internal speakers.

    Does anyone know what to do? It looks like a sw/hw error to me?

    Thanks,
    Martin

    Kun voor aansluiting niet de hoofdtelefoon uitgang gebruiken ? Het is maar een idee. Waarschijnlijk gaat dan wel het geluid van de TV uit.

    "Can not use the headphone output for connection? It's just an idea. Is likely or the sound of the TV.
    greetings"

    ================================

    Normally amplifiers fail if the TV settings is incorrect(Try turning off Easy link Function for now).
    Did you check if the TV speakers are on or off in the TV speaker settings?

    Please share with us the Model No of the TV you have as well as the Amplifier that your using. Most Likely someone will look into this mater if all details needed are available.
