    Hey Gaspo53,

You installed latest fw? I had a very slow UI with my 8008 too, but after latest fw update menu worked way better...

I am very curious what means ''way better'' ! On my 55pfl8007 from 82 firmware updated to 87 is like a PC CPU 286 to 386 , if you know what I'm saying... Half core , not dual-core . This is a general Philips TV behaviour... so, live with it !

Hey Ibanias, i meant that when i first used my 8008 the menu's where almost not usable. After a fw update it responded allot better. It is still slow, but way better then before. I didn't use the TV long before i did the update though..

I guess we just have to live with this... but if i only have a logical explanation why it needs ages to open a simple menu ! One thing it come to my mind is that it is slowed/animated so that it won't scare you... Yeah, right ! Perfect gift for my grandma .
