Bug: USB -> Net TV
Philips moderator,
Not sure if this is the correct spot to report this new bug:
(pfl7605h - FW v0.140.32.0)
After watching a movie on a USB stick, watching Net TV is not possible anymore, even not via 'TV'.
So steps to reproduce:
1. Watch movie on USB;
2. Watch Net TV <- not possible. (Black screen, or not-clickable icons)
Can you please confirm if this is a bug?
Forgive me if this bug has been reported somewhere else, I couldn't find it. The forum really get cluttered and is less clear and intuitive than some months ago, at least for me.
Keep up the good work. Making brilliant televisions, blueray players with competitive features that work as designed.
Cheers,
daL

Turn off your TV completely (with the switch), turn on and check again.
If that does not help, do a "clear Net TV memory".
After this, all your settings in Net TV are gone.
You even need to sign-up to Club Philips again.
It is an interesting error. What videoformat did you play over USB?
Perhaps interesting for Philips to see if they can reproduce this.Last edited by DellUser; 04-03-2011 at 10:32 AM.

Hi DellUser,
Thanks for your reply.
Switching-off and on the TV is indeed the only solution. This bug looks like one there was earlier: watching NET TV lead to the situation that Teletext wasn't possible.
The type of video is a .vob file from a VIDEO_TS directory (copied DVD).
Preferrably I don't want to remove all my NET TV apps (3 pages), it will take ages to all get them back
Today is Sunday so I hope the Philips moderator will pick this up tomorrow.
Cheers,
daL

Hi JuAn,
Thanks for your suggestion.
This trick worked for the NetTV -> Teletext bug (which was fixed in the latest fw).
Unfortenately for this new bug you have to switch off and on your TV (a reboot).
Philips, if you are reading this can you please confirm that you can reproduce this (or not)?
Thanks,
daL
