    39PFL4208H Constant brightness changing

    Hi,
My new 39PFL4208H tv is constantly changing brightness.
It is slowly getting darker (over 1 or more minutes) and than suddenly jumps back to full brightness.
It seems as if it jumps back when new subtitles appear or a scene changes.
It does not get really dark, but as if it goes from 100% brightness to about 75%. This occurs more frequent in dark scenes and is very visible in the subtitles. The jump to 100% brightness is mostly when a scene changes.
But the on screen menu seems to have the same problem.
My set runs the newest software version 002.021.000.001, 2013-05-22.
    Any idea what causes this?

    Hi Petervg,

    Welcome to the TV forum.

Does this happen on all sources?

Do you have Dynamic Backlight enabled?

Try to restore the factory settings (this will revert the picture and sounds settings) and see if this changes anything.

    Best regards,
    Ina
