    Audio out to soundbar

    Hi,

I've a 42pfl7662d TV and I'm tring to get audio form the tv to a soundbar, Philips HTL5120. I've connected an RCA audio cable to the side connection (EXT3 in the manual) and I've connected the other end to the RCA ports on the soundbar. I've tried to use the AV button on the tv remote to direct audio via EXT3 but this changes the whole picture etc. Is there an option to just change audio out? I can get music via bluetooth from the soundbar.

    Thanks

    Hi David,

    Welcome to the TV forum.

The EXT3 port on your TV is Audio In and will not be able to forward sound to your soundbar.

In this case you could connect the soundbar Audio In to the Headphones Out on the TV with a 3.5mm jack.

    Best regards,
    Ina
