Your 37PFL9604H/12 TV is a 2009 model, it does not support the Netflix App.
Besides that, you need to be in a country where Netflix is active.

The solution is getting an additional Smart device that supports Netflix.
The Philips BluRay player BDP7700/12 is Netflix compatible and offers you a much faster responding Smart TV experience with more Apps than available on your TV.

I want to install Netflix too, but don't find it in apps. Isn't it ridiculous that you can't watch latest stuff because your TV is 3 years old? It's like not being able to watch a tv-channel because it wasn't there when you bought the TV.
    I have a 42PFL7606H/12 from 2011. Netherlands.
So you are suggesting I buy a whole new apparatus while mine is fairly new?
And same goes for my BR-player I bought with it to have everything nicely connected?
Or do you advice me to buy Samsung in the future if I like to have some normal working stuff? Sorry, but you guys are making me kinda mad. How hard can it be to get this app available for all.

So you are suggesting I buy a whole new BR player, while my system is 3 years old, to be able to use an app?

    Hi,

i suggest that you use a Device with capable Hardware/Software to Play netflix. It don't has to be an BR player.

To get a clear Point, your TV is not able to handle netflix, the Hardware is not, the Software is not.

    Regards
    Thomas

You could always look into the Philips HMP2000? It has Netflix support and is pretty cheap.

Maybe I can install it on my Samsung phone and then stream it to TV?

    Hi,

the TV can access Videostreams from an UPnP/DLNA Server.
so if you can Store the Videos on your Smartphone or connect it via HDMI that would work. (if copyright protection does allow such sharing)
