    42PFL4606 and HTB5540

    I am curious if there are more people who have bought a HTB5540 (2013 model, 2013 home cinema set) and (try !?) to use it with a Philips TV 42PFL4606 (2011 model).

    I am a bit fed up with the appearent software issues. Specially starting up and shutting down. Both the receiver and my TV (a 42PFL4606) support EasyLink.

    Few observations:

    - I enabled EasyLink

    - If you start the TV, the HTB5540 also switches on, but it takes up to 2 minutes before the TV sees the receiver as an external amplifier and switches sound to the amplifier (using HDMI ARC).

    - If power the TV down, the HTB5540 switches off as well. However, if you think next time the switch on the TV it will work there's a high chance, the TV will start but just show a black screen. Only solution is to remove the power cord, put it back in.

    - Above will work if you power the HTB5540 on first yourself AND THEN switch on the TV.

    Sounds to me that the Philips software department still has to some home work.

    Please ensure that your TV has the latest software version installed.

    Does this also happen if EasyLink is disabled?

    Please try to remove the device from the Home menu and then add it again.
