WAC7500 flashing red LED
Got up last week to see the LED on my WAC7500 flashing red.
It refused to power up, so I decided to open it up for a look see. The first thing I noticed is that all the capacitors on the
'AF & Amp' PCB have leaked.
Does anyone know if these boards are still available? I am astounded that something that has been used so little has exhibited such a failure. There is a date printed on the board 27/8/2007, which I assume was the date of design rather than manufacture, but either way it is less than 6 years old.
Am I likely to find more unpleasant surprises if I strip it down further?
I have a picture, but can't find a way to attach it here!
