After online upgrade, BDP7600 now also has the standbye lock-up syndrom, which should have been solved more than a year ago. Now have to pull the plug time-and-time again...
Also NetTV doesn't work anymore, only a blue screen. BDP can be pinged from the LAN, so network is OK.

    Dear HighJohn,

It is the first time we hear this comment for this firmware version.
May I know if a factory reset has been done?

    Kind regards,

    Tachchen,

for the blue-screen issue: try to switch between LAN and WLAN (OR WLAN to LAN). Sometimes this helps.

Reflashing the latest firmware via USB is also possible.

If you mean factory reset as in load defaults from the advanced menu: Yes, I did.
I also flashed it once more using USB, no change.
THis version seems to make the problem wore, in the past the lockup happened only once a monthe or so. Now few times a day...
Is it possible to flash the previous version without problems?

    SUCCESS...everthing working OK now.
Thanks to Toengel for his remark on switching LAN/WiFi. That did the trick...

After some more investigation found that BDP could not shutdown anymore, but always remained in "standbye"status. Pulling the plug in that case was the only option.
Because of that the resetting also did never completed....!!

After switching network from WiFi to LAN, (which did work right away), and resetting again (which now included a power down sequence ), everything worked as should be.
Switched back to WiFi, and NETTV worked fine.

Now pressing standbye, actually shuts down. All problems seem to be gone.....thanks,,,,
