    32PFL4017G/77 frozen at Philips' logo

    Hi, how are you?

My TV 32PFL4017G/77 is frozen at Philips' logo screen and it doesn't response to the remote control and I even can't turn it off from the TV. So, to turn it off, I have to disconnect it from the power supply. If I connect it again to the power it turns on itself, staying frozen at the Philips' logo screen.

I didn't make any firmware upgrade, in fact I watched a movie connecting the notebook to the TV and it turned off without any problem. When I tried to watch TV again this issue appeared.

I would be glad if you could say me how to resolve it.

There is not much to show, but...

    Trythis:

    1.Pull out the mains
2.Press and hold "ok" on RC
3.Connect the Mains (still hold "ok" for 20 seconds)

Ifa softwareupdate-screen is coming, download and install the latestsoftware.
    1.Download Software
2.Create folder "upgrades" at usb drive
    3.put autorun.upg into this folder
    4.Drive into tv
    5.Start update

If the update-screen doesn't come, call the support.

    Thank you for your response.

I tried every combination (TV off, pressing button and start - connect the TV with an USB with autorun and upgrades/autorun files - pressing buttons for a minute - etc), but nothing seems to work. So, I called the support, they didn't come to solve this problem yet, but I will tell you when I solve it and, if I learn, how can you solve this problem.

I have the same problem. The TV remains frozen in the Philips logo.
I did the indicated, but it does not work.
    What must I do?

    Hi, Matias!.

I had to change the mainboard (well, the support did). I tried everything that I found in the internet, but nothing worked. Sorry.
