    AW9000 and PC control possibilities

    Hi,
Since I got such beautiful help about using Google Chrome for my scrolling problem, I developed a couple of what one could call "convenience issues" with regards to controlling the AW9000 via my PC:

    1. When looking at lists of stations, many full names are cut off as if to save space for more columns to the right. However, in reality the whole space top the right of the name remains totally empty making me wonder why this inconvenience takes place. Why can't the whole length of the space to the right be used? Is there any way to change this? Quite a number of stations start with the same words like ALFA RADIO BALKAN where the last missing word makes the difference between the stations. Is there a way to allow names to be written fully on that otherwise empty PC screen?

    2. The sorting out business seems far from complete. To give an example:

when selecting "Central America" only a very few countries appear on the list to select from. However, when I selecht "search" and then type in "Curacao" I get 20 stations, same for other countries. Even Cuba isn't on the country list.

Is this a work in progress or nonchelance?

    3. A "wish" idea:
When going to the "favourite stations" list there is just one long list. How much more convenient would it be if one could use at least 4 or 5 columns so that you can select a favourite station without any scrolling! Or better yet, make a screen with station names/symbols in custom sizes or blocks as as icons all across the page?

Would there perhaps be any (external or designable) alternative to what Windows has offers standard?

    Thank you Joanna,

Perhaps I could add one more suggestion:

When trying to select some internet radio stations from a bigger country like France or the United Kingdom one needs literally hours of time to find a desired station from the list because each time you have to ask for the next 20 stations or so. The alphabetical selection to the right might have helped somewhat but it's not functioning.

My suggestion: when one selects "all stations" then please allow for the full list of stations to be downloaded first and then allow users to scroll up and down in the entire list with the mouse scrolling wheel from beginning to end. That would be the perfect way to end all of this super-irritating step-by-step searching that takes hours to complete.

As to point 2 of my above questions I just discovered that according to the very strange software systematics the island of Curaçao, situated just north of Venezuela, does not belong to Central America but to North America.

A very strange and unusual way of subdividing the Americas...
