55PFL7606H. After 10 days of using 14.105 I can confirm, the annoying HDMI blank-out bug, I described in this topic
http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...ll=1#post39973 seems solved. Thank You very much for this firmware! I've almost lost any hope... .-)

    Hi Bluevoice and all,

Please repost your negative (and if applicable, positive) points in the Technical Feedback thread for this software version:
    http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...nd-9xx6-series

When you do, please reiterate the issues as this makes collating the information for development much faster. Referring to "Previous issue with xxx not solved" can create misunderstandings about what specific issue is referred to.

Thank you all for your continued feedback!

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi,

do I need to post again the stuff, I posted in the German forum? ;-)

    http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...ll=1#post49158

@all - please use a translator to read my bugs... maybe (i'm confident) you can agree on these bugs.

    Hi Alex,

There is no need to repost in the English forum if you have already reported in the German forum. We collate information between these 2 forums already.

Thank you for asking about this though, as I am sure we have other users who are also active in both forums.

    Best regards,
    Ina

Dear fellow Philips users, I'm surprised of this.

Somehow we can all locate this forum to complain about the negative aspects of the Philips software, yet when I take a quick peek at the technical feedback, I see that only four members have actually bothered to fill in the template.

This seems rather unfair towards the members that are actually trying to improve the user experience from both the consumers as Philips themselves. If we really want to have better support, shouldn't we also try to participate more in finding the solution?

Thank you Ina, Toengel and the short hand of others for actually helping in a constructive fashion. I'm looking forward for a possible final firmware edition.

The realism of the images that differentiates these televisions over the competition are lost on my TV with this latest update, with the previous version that realism could be seen in the images, another factor that I have noticed, television has lost color, all more obscure and not so vivid colors, has raised a staggering definition of the subtitles.

    "Cold Start"

    Hi Ina,

    I have a 32PFL9606H and just installed FW 14.105.

But I am confused. In both the Topics you started late last month (Technical Feedback and Experience Thread) you refer in the paragraph regarding the "Cold Start" to "..... shut down the TV .....". What do you mean by this ? Using the Remote control ? Or physically switching off the TV by using the electrical switch on the side of the TV (before pulling the power cord) ?

Thanks in advance for your response - lange

    Hi,

    cold start means:

    - bring TV to standby
    - wait 2 minutes (until all components are shut down)
    - pull power cord for 2-3 minutes
    - plug-in power cord
    - wait 5 minutes until TV is in standby mode again (if you have a USB HDD connected it could take some more minutes)
    - start TV with remote control

    "Cold Start" 2

    Thanks Toengel,

Your instructions worked fine. Standby mode was back in seconds, but I neverthless waited a bit longer.

But it is strange to be told to pull the power cord without switching off the appliance. Long ago I learned that was dangerous and therefor forbidden. And my longer memory seems to getting better ....

I hope Ina will also incorporate some of your lines in her future announcements.

    Regards - lange

Terrifying "ghosting" in 3D movies with a new FW 0.14.105.0 at my PFL7606. I distinctly see parasitic contours of objects in 80% of scenes. With previous FWs this effect was much less. I very much ask to fix it!

I speak about built-in TV player.

short sound drop outs with hdmi on 32pfl9606

    TV Model: 32PFL9606
    Previous Firmware:14.104

    Negative: Issue with sound drop-outs.
When playing a DVD or blu-ray via HDMI, there are short drop-outs in the sound every few seconds. This was already happening in the previous FW version, and is still there. The same DVD or blu-ray, using the same blu-ray player and cable, play well on a different TV set, so the prolem seems to be with the 32plf9606.

    Hi

I have the 42PFL7406H/12 model and then upgrade to version Q5551_0.14.105.0 see that the tv is very slow. When I change the channel or open smarttv I see worse than the previous version. They'll get a new version that fix? Where I can I download the previous version to upload?

    Thanks!
