    Hi there,

    Since i noticed these problems in the official tread. (and nothing is done with it)
    I will put them here also.

    Problems i'm having:

    - Audio drop outs. I hear silence every few seconds.
    I notice on my 5.1 set (panasonic) that only over SPif i'm having these troubles.
    Other audi sets have same problem over SPdif.
    (Switching input e.g. when gaming, switching to Television, and back to game input will make it better (sometimes)

    - Sometimes the audio is totally out of sync when watching TV, switching channels will sole this.

    - The TV askes me allmost every week if i want to update the channel list, or ignore and do this while the tv is in standby.. Can't the TV do this by itself/always when it is in standy, and don't bother the user?

    For the rest. My TV is totally out of level.
    Tried to mount the standard again, and try to "bend" is, but still the right side is +- 1cm lower then the left side.. (but i will solve it myself i hope)

    All sound bugs are quite anoying.. so please try to fix them......

    Hello,

    I have updated my 40pfl8606/h12 with this software update.
    Now i have often the problem, that when i change to another channel, the audio is not synchron to the video.
    I have to change again and go back to the channel to get them synchron
    My cable provider is ZIGGO and i use a CAM module with the newest software.

    IMPORTANT:

    • HbbTV application is not working. (Only applicable to country, Czech Republic)
    • USB recording resume function is not working.
    • TV turns off and on by itself when EasyLink is enabled.

    I'm also seeing the same issue as elroy and gert1234. Audio is sometimes out of sync when switching channels. Selecting the same channel again or switching channels most of the time solves it.

    TV is 46PFL8606H/12, TV-provider is Ziggo NL, and I'm using a Neotion CI+ module.

    I also have audio drops for a second or two when using spdif out.

    Media player connected with HDMI to TV and sound output from optical connection on TV to sound system. It happens also when scaling down the output on the mediaplayer to 2ch instead of DD5.1

    Is anyone at philips working on these problems?

    Seems like we just have to live with audio dops and audio out of sync?
    Any moderator who has something to say about this?
    Is anyone working on new software which fixes these issues??

    Bought a new home cinema set, but the problem still persist!

    No.
    I highly doubt the fact that Philips is trying to support their older products.
    The only thing we can do now, is advice people to never purchase a Philips product.

    I've owned this particular TV for 3 years now. The issue of the sounds drops has never been addressed in a firmware update. Besides that problem, several (if not most) of the other mentioned issues, keep haunting my TV.

    Please do not purchase any more Philips products. I've been advising that to my surroundings ever since.
    I don't want them to experience the same crappy service I have.
