Angry AW3000 Out of sync on MP3 Link

    Hi,

I have a AW3000 which I was planning to use as speaker to my PC every now and then.

The problem is that when I connect it to the MP3-link port on the AW3000 and I start to watch a youtube clip or something the sound is out of sync. The sound is coming about 0,5secs after the "video".

I have another TDK speaker with mp3-link port. When I connect that speaker (same 3,5mm cable) it doesnt get out of sync. Something in the AW3000 is delaying the sound, this is very annoying. I know this should be a music only speaker but since it has a mp3 link port it should be able to just troughput regular sound without any delay.

I was in the store and got my AW3000 replaced, same issue with the new one. I think Philips can fix this in a upcoming firmware, if they even care about it.

Hi, this issue has been discussed previously. Try to look up the thread "time delay when using jack"

    Hi,

I've done that, all I see is that Philips replies everyone in PM:s how to resolve this. Very annoying that they wont publish a official fix?

Agreed, I also dislike the extensive use of PMs. For this issue however I don't think there is a fix. I guess the response is, the speaker wasn't designed for that. Even the physical volume control buttons have a noticeable reaction time. I don't think you should expect a fix for this either, my guess is development on this product has been shut down. But that's just my guess...

Feels great after spending almost 300usd on a "premium"-speaker that doesn't have a fully functional 3,5mm input. Well, crossing my fingers and hoping that Philips gets back to me.
