    dcm3020 dosn't recognise iphone 4

    Hello,

    i just purchased the dcm3020.
    the dock works great with regular ipods , but when i try to dock my iphone 4 , the iphone tells me that it dosn't support the product. so the iphone charges but dosn't play music through the system.

    i have a version v44 of the DCM3020.

    thank you
    hope to get a quik answear.

    hi, as I know, the phone source should be loaded automatically after docking. However, after placing your phone into the dock, try to press 'source' repeatedly to select 'dock' source.

    And also make sure that you have the latest version of iOS on your iphone.

    thank's for the answear.
    my phone is updated to the last version.

    the system is indeed on "dock" status. but the iphone itself gives me a message that it can't work with this machine.

    anyone knows?
    can i get asistance from someone from philips who knows this problem?

    It's really strange because iPhone 4 is compatible with the dock. I'd suggest you to try this:
    1) Reset the phone by pressing home button and power button simultaneously until you see an Apple logo;
    2) Power reset the DCM3020 (unplug power cord for like 15 minutes and plug it right back);
    3) To check if your phone/dock works - try to dock another phone on the docking speaker for verification/ would be great if you are also able to test your phone on another docking speaker to see if the phone work.

    I hope this helps. Fingers crossed
