Question [BDP9700] Problems with Maxdome VOD

    Hi,

    I currently running BDP9700/12 with firmware 3.92.

Maxdome on Philips TV has the following options: |<, <<, Pause, Stop, Play, >>, >|

Maxdome on Philips BDP9700 has the following options: |<, Stop, Play, >|

    Observation on BDP9700:

    - When I press Pause, Movie starts from the beginning
    - When I press Stop, Movie starts from the beginning
    - It's not possible to go back to the Maxdome home menu
    - When I press Home-Key, movie is still running, but I see the Home menu icons
    - BDP9700 freezes, when I press Standby (Standby is displayed in the BDP9700 display)

    Hi,

I also tried now BDP5500/12 with firmware 3.71:

Maxdome on Philips BDP5500 has the following options: |<, Stop, Play, >|

However, the when pressing the "Play" button, the button becomes "Pause". I also can stop the movie, exit to maxdome and also go into standby properly. All these functions do not work with BDP9700.

    Dear Marcus,
that would really be great if you guys could fix this Maxdomme issue as soon as possible because like it is now its really weird. Its only possible to watch the movie at once untill the end. Besides this I love the 9700, is a great player. I hope it wont take so long untill this is fixed.
    Best regards from Hamburg,
    Joerg
