HTS3261/12 streaming problem
Hello,
I am facing some problems with my HTS3261/12. I want to stream music (mp3 from windows 7 mediaplayer, or phlips android app) to the HTS. It is not possible to stream more than one number to the HTS. HTS is at the latest available firmware version.
I also have a Philips TV 37PFL7605H/12 which is connected to the same switch by LAN. The TV does not show the same problem; I am able to stream more than one mp3 t the TV.
What I want is to use my tablet and stream from a media server to my HTS without having to switch on my TV; so directly from mediaserver to the HTS. And of course more than only one number at a time.
Is this issue recognized by other users and or phlips members and can it be solved?
Regards,
Arjan

Hi AvdL,
Try using SimplyShare or BubbleUPnP app and see if it works.
Thanks,

Wilma,
Thanks for your reply, but I did use BubbleUpnP. It is a nice app but this did not solve my problem.

Hello,
At this moment, waiting for a long time for a firmware update, still no improvement. To me it looks like the HTS does not broadcast information about the remaining playing time on the network. Therefore a playlist is always stopped after 1 song. The media player software ( for example Bubble Upnp, W7 mediaplayer, Twonky, Philips my remote app and all the others) gets no notifification that the first song is finished, and therefore it always stops. My home network is under suspicion now (by Philips).
My Phlips TV (connected via the same switch into the LAN and of model NMR in W7 properties) doesn't show this problem. The elapsed time is being returnend nicely to the player software. The HTS seesm to have a different DLNA protocol (from access co. LTD)
When it works perfectly for my TV, this network could not be the problem to my opinion. Firewall has been disabled to do further testing.
Does anyone has similar problems when streaming music towards your Philips home cinema set, and how is it solved?
Regards,
Arjan

Hello,
Is there anybody in the world who owns the HST3261/12 and is able to stream more than one song towards the HTS with latest firmware release (1.56.10)?
Can anyone please test this for me. Philips is claiming that the issue is solved with the latest release. I disagree because the elapsed time of a song is still not being broadcasted back to the streaming software (for example Bubble UpnP, Phlips my remote, W7 media player, ...). They claim that the problem is being caused by my network configuration.
So can anyone do some testing for me?
Thanks in advance!!
Arjan
