Question Problems with audio out in 42PFL6907K

    Hi All,
I've a problem with connecting of audio devices to my Philips 42PFL6907 TV. When I plug earphones, or hi-fi stereo thru the mini-jack, there is no any sound. I thought, maybe there are some settings in menu, but I couldn't find anything according to this problem. Version of the FW: QF1EU-0.150.88.0_bld72a

In my other TV it works very simple: when I'm conecting earphones the sound is simultaneously in the speakers and the phones.

    Is my Philips broken then

    Hi Marioosh,

Are you saying that there is no sound coming out of the headphones when you plug them into the headphones jack?

Please ensure that you are using the headphones jack (side connection) and not the Audio In DVI/VGA jack (rear connection).

In menus ensure the headphones audio volume is turned up:

HOME > [Setup] > [TV settings] > [Sound] > [Headphones volume]

Also try to check if the option for Visually Impaired is disabled:

OPTIONS > Visually impaired > Off

If you are still experiencing issues, please contact your local customer service:
    http://www.support.philips.com/suppo..._selector.jsp?
Select your country and preferred language, then Contact.

    Best regards,
    Ina
