    Aw3000 stops working after a while

    Hello Philips

    Yesterday i bought the aw3000 and installation was easy and sound is superb, but after an hour or so the system stops working, its like the the whole system gets stuck. The app doesnt find the speaker anymore and the white light on the speaker is on, so that normally means that everything is ok. So this is very weird, the only way to bring him back is to unplug it and then it works again for a while untill the same problem repeats itself after a while. I first thought there was something wrong with the wifi connection at my house so i tried to connect it through a network cable, but the same problem happened ? Very strange, the speaker and app have the latest updates.

    Are you aware of this problem ?

    You have build such a nice speaker but after all i read on the net you guys sure messed up with the software and the app on ios is just an embaressement for a company like philips. You can do so much better, so do it and keep your customers happy.

    Hopefully you have a solution for my problem

    When your speaker gets stuck, what is the operation ? Playing music on smartphone or music service (Tune In, Spotify...etc) ?

    And what is your smartphone ?

    The player gets stuck when on services ( spotify and radio ) and i use the ipad ( 3rd generation ) and the iphone 4.

    Hi, it is good to try with LAN cable, but you have to complete the factory reset 1st.

    When the system gets stuck, can you play the music via iPhone or iPad ?

    I did everytime i changed from cable to wifi or other way around i always did a reset. No i can't do anything anymore when it gets stuck, nothing in the app works, he doesn't find the speaker anymore the only way to make the system work again is to unplug the speaker and then it works again for a while.

    Dear Kvdb,

    Would you please advise on the below:

    1. When the device is stuck, can it play again by killing the App?
    2. When the device is stuck, can you switch it to standby (solid green LED) by pressing the power button ?
    3. Around how long can it play before it got stuck ?

    I did remove the app and reinstalled it, but that didnt make a difference, he still can't find the speaker, its really like the device just freezes up.

    No i can not turn it to standby mode

    It depends, sometimes when i play a few songs on spotify it gets stuck, i would say not longer then an hour.

    By talking to your customers in this forum shows what a great company you are, i just want to find a solution to this problem not only to help me but also all the other philips fan's out there.

    I really think its the software or the communication between speaker and app. The speaker itself plays awesome !!!
