    ============================
    TV Model: 47PFL6008K/12
    Previous Firmware: 171.051

    Positive:
    no problem with startup
    no reboots

    Negative:
still slow UI especially when watching hd or fullhd
a couple days ago my tv after turning on showed me strange screen with many bright lines. Using remote to switching tv off and on didn't solve problem. Only unplug tv from power cord did.

Is this a new future implemented to new update or something different.

    Hi,
Since i upgrade with this firmware my TV works great. But last week i try to put Quick Start option from automatic to manuel and now i have a black screen when i put tv on. The only thing to do is to unplug the power cable. I try to reinstall tv again with no result.

    Model: 42PFL6198K/12
    Firmware: v000.171.056.000 (171.56)

Experiences in last two weeks since the latest software update-

Positive- I still like the ambilight.

    Negative:

    1) TV restarting in the middle of watching movie through DLNA. (overheat? room temperature 21Celsius) 8GB MKVs. Not often, but once a week.

    2) Once in last two weeks with this firmware the TV totally hang up. Not responding. Only switching off the wall socket helped. Made a photo of the TV.

    3) TV remote works only for about 2-2,5m distance.

This is the worst TV i have ever owned, it would be nice, if Philips could give us some document with which we could get easily our money back.

    Have a good day.

Unfortunately I thought I have the solution but it does not work. When i found "hidden" search bar on the top of screen it works, but not paired with you tube unfortunately . probably they fix that issue with next FW.

Therefore....in next Fw. Fix or add "font size in player" , "add resume option in player to work after turn off and turn on tv" , "work Usb keyboard on search bar in You tube"

Since this update I have the problem that Perfect Natural Motion (causing the soap opera effect) is constantly turned on despite that this feature is disabled in the menu. The soap opera effect is immediately noticable and the only way to turn this off is to set the PNM on max and then disabling the feature. It is quite annoying. I have this problem when watching with my HTPC, regular television (DVB-T) or netflix. I hope this can be fixed in a future update. Furthermore I noticed that in PC and Game mode the picture quality is inferior to the other modes. I noticed this when I compared the picture quality of my htpc (on pc mode) with the quality on normal/movies/personal. Normally the PQ on PC mode should be superior to the other modes because my PC is doing al the processing.

Same here. It's been this way for me since I bought my tv 3-4 months ago. Updates haven't fixed it. I found that the quickest way to disable it is by pressing the options button on the remote and then switch to a picture theme that has natural motion on, and then back to the one you have without natural motion, the picture flickers, and then PNM is gone (but this doesn't work on the Netflix app since the options button doesn't work there for some reason).

Another way is to have your tv on a input which has game mode / pc activated when turning the tv off. When you start it, it doesn't have PNM on, even if you switch input.

Please fix this, i've been having this problem for months now. Very irritating to change this every time you turn on your tv.

    Model: 47PFL6008H/12
    Firmware: v000.171.056.000 (171.56)

I bought my TV 2 weeks ago. It was working without any problem but when I update the FW to 171.56, after a while it starts rebooting itself and the only way to get rid of it is removing main power, after reconnecting the power it only works correctly for 5 to 10 minutes then starts rebooting again!

Please suggest me a solution as soon as possible.
