47PFL6097T/12 - shuts down after about 105 minutes

    Hi

I have a problem with my TV 47PFL6097T/12 - almost every time I Watch a DVD or bluray on my BDP7700/12 the TV shuts Down after about 105 minutes or so. The last three days we have been watching movies, and every time the TV shuts Down at about that time in the movies.

Is this a failure on the TV, or somewhere something is sat to do that. I have checked everything and timers and so are off. I have the latest software installed.

I hope someone can help me.

    Hi bentsten,

Sound to me like the TV sleep timer is active. Please check to see if that might be the case:

HOME > [TV settings] > [General settings] > [Sleep timer]

Try to set it to off or the maximum of 180 minutes and see if the issue still occurs.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi Ina

Tahnak you for your answer, but I had my eyes on the sleep-timer, and it is set to off. I also tried to set it to 180 minutes, but never the less, it shuts down afterthe 105 minutes. This is really a mystery to me :-(

    Hi bentsten,

It certainly sounds like a mystery! Is it always just around 105 minutes?

Let's see. Do you have any other devices connected to the TV, other than the Bluray player?

Do it also happen if you are not using the BDP or the player is disconnected?

Have you tried to remove the device from the Home menu and then adding it again?

Also, please check that the Bluray player's software is also up to date:

    Best regards,
