    IŽd like to share my experience with Philips

    Hi,

    IŽd like to share my experience with Philips.
    In april this year I bought a PFL 8007 tv from Philips, the image quality is great but it comes with an incredible amount of problems, the screen has dark shadows, the interface is terribly slow, the remote stops working from time to time and even the tv stop working sometimes, you have to unplug it, wait for a while and plug it again, but the last time it happened it never worked again.
    So I called the spanish philips technical service (IŽm from spain) asking for help (incident reference RMA 544544), this happened ONE MONTH ago and I still have no tv, and whatŽs worst, they donŽt even tell me when I will.
    Is depressing how Philips treates their customers.

    Problem posting, help please.

    You post was moderated, but I have released it now. I have also merged your 2 posts, just for the sake of overview.

    I'm sorry you have had a drawn out repair experience. Sometimes when spare parts need to be ordered a repair can take a little longer than expected. There can also be other factors that weigh in when considering the time needed for repair. It can be quite difficult to estimate the length of a repair due to these factors. But we always try to ensure that our customers experience the most minimal wait while their TVs are for taken in for service.

    I have however been in touch with the Spanish customer service team, who tell me that your TV is planned for delivery today. If you have not heard anything, please get back in touch with me.
