    HTB5250 (5255D/6251D) NetTV?

    Hi,

    I'm interested in the HTB5250 set but cant get confirmed which SmartTV version it's got.
    NetTV, in which I can re-watch missed programs of all Dutch TV networks, is a MUST for me.

    In the overview page of this set it's stated that it's got SmartTV and NetTV offers many online possibilities.
    But in the spec sheet of the model NetTV is NOT mentioned.
    Also an on-line customer review states that he cannot find the re-watch options or 'apps'.

    Philips help-desk Chat states that this device will have NetTV and refers to a SmartTV 'app check' website with all models, but this(and other) new models aren't even listed.

    So, does this model have NetTV with re-watch options/"uitzending gemist" from Ned1,2,3, RTL & SBS???

    I know its in the leafelet, the leaflet seems to be the same for every product.
    The detailed specs state;
    • Smart TV: MyRemote, SimplyShare, DLNA, Online Services

    If you look at specs of the HTB7250 (same leaflet);
    • Smart TV Plus: MyRemote-app, Net TV, SimplyShare


    Does this mean that the brand new, options loaded HTB5250 does not have NetTV?

    as far as i understand, smart tv = net tv
    smart tv is a new term of net tv....

    so dont worry... if it is written in leaflet, it supports so
    i think it is more a question if those channels/apps you wanted in the portal or not...

    Yes, when I go there, select AVM & Netherlands and search for HTB5* of HTB7*.
    The HTB5250 (5255D/6251D) isnt listed and the HTB7250 isnt listed either.

    Dear german80,

    The URL, as you can tell, is from our Smart TV provider.
    They may not have the full list of our models and that is why you may not find some models in the URL. However, it is ok that you filter till the subgroup level (HTS 2013) and that should give you the information you need already. The apps and channels you have varies in Smart TV portal and not varies in CTNs (model number).

    It all start "2012/2013 NetTV version xx" whilst its not even cleared wether the 5250 HAS Net TV at all.
    Smart TV option will be there, no doubt, but the option ot install NetTV apps...

    It turns out that we do not have an actual sample on hand.
    We are checking this with our Smart TV provider but usually it takes time. Hope you understand.

    Please note that the content in the Smart TV portal may subject to changes (app down, app taken out, new app added in etc) and we may not have control over this.
