- Rep Power
Im hoping you can help me.
I bought a Philips 50PFP5532D/05 off my neighbour who has moved to Australia. It has worked perfect for the last 4 months but 3 days ago I was watching it and it switched off and would not turn back on .
The front led is flashing red ( 1 long flash and 2 quick ones).
I removed the back to discover 4 capacitors had blown.
I replaced them with new caps but still the same flashing light.
I checked the voltages out and 1P11 , pin 8 (12vSSB) shows 12v when plugged in but after 3 seconds drops to zero.
On 1C01 ,pin 4 shows 5v but pins 5 and 6 only show 0.23 volts.
Can you point me in some direction as to what can be wrong with it.
