    philips 50pfp5532D/05

Im hoping you can help me.
I bought a Philips 50PFP5532D/05 off my neighbour who has moved to Australia. It has worked perfect for the last 4 months but 3 days ago I was watching it and it switched off and would not turn back on .
The front led is flashing red ( 1 long flash and 2 quick ones).

I removed the back to discover 4 capacitors had blown.
I replaced them with new caps but still the same flashing light.

I checked the voltages out and 1P11 , pin 8 (12vSSB) shows 12v when plugged in but after 3 seconds drops to zero.
On 1C01 ,pin 4 shows 5v but pins 5 and 6 only show 0.23 volts.
Can you point me in some direction as to what can be wrong with it.

    Hi irishbiker24,

We do not advise consumers to perform self-repair of TVs in the interest of warranty, health and safety. Please seek service centre advice on any repair issues.

For local service centre information, please contact your local Philips consumer care team:
