problem with my easy-link / arc.

    hello,

    I have a problem with my easy-link / arc.
    I have a 58pfl9556 and HTB 9225d home theater.
he does everything if I only HTB and TV connect with arc/easy-link.
but since I have another device connected : a cablereceiver or / and media player goes the aesy-link way.(1.4hdmi)
both when using the TV hub as the htb hub.
tried several times in several ways and sequences

    firmwares up to date

He also recognized the device just like a "hts" and not a "htb"

hts series has no hub, the HTB does have one
maybe here is the error comes from

    Hi sneyman,

I'm unsure that I understand your issue correctly. Please confirm the following:

    - The TVs full model number (9956?)
    - HTB is connected to HDMI 1 port?
    - EasyLink is enabled in the TV menu?
    - What exactly is the problem you are experiencing? No sound? EasyLink remote control issues?

HTS and HTB are the same thing as far as the TV is concerned, so would not be the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hello Ina,
First of all thanks for the reply
And yes it must be 9956
connected to hdmi 1 (arc) , aesy-link enabled in the TV menu

He does everything if I only HTB and TV connect with arc/easy-link.(sound , remote and integration in home menu from the tv) .
But when I connect another HDMI device disappear all possibilities except the implementation of sound.

remote control and integration in home menu disappear

    Best regards

    Hi sneyman,

Have you checked that HDMI CEC (EasyLink) is disabled in the second HDMI device ("cablereceiver or / and media player")?

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi sneyman,

Please specify if you have disabled HDMI CEC on the third device (cable reciever).

If HDMI CEC is disabled and the reciever is still causing the issue, please contact the device manufacturer's customer support.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi sneyman,

Please try to disable EasyLink in the TV menu. It appears the reciever and TV may have some incompatibility issue with EasyLink.

    Best regards,
    Ina
