    streaming TV

    Goodevening,

I just bought a TV Philips 39PFL3208H/12 in Netherlands because I was looking for a smart TV to watch easily the streaming TV by internet. But i tryed with several streaming websites that works properly by my PC and they are not working by the smart TV. What happens exactly is that TV visualize the web site but it's not able to show the streaming video of any TV channel.
I also updated the software of my TV but it's not working anyway.
    thanks for any advise
    best regards

    Hi,

the integrated web browser does not support Adobe flash... (but HTML 5). Take a look, if an App is available from the "website owner" - the Apps are adapted correspondingly to work on your TV.

It would be better when Philips makes a software-update for the 2010-tv's to support HbbTV directly. In the Netherlands the 2010 model owners are missing the SBS HBBTV-app, the NET5-app en the Veronica-app, which is supported through HbbTV.

Philips promised these users that when HbbTV was not supported they would build the app in SmartTV to connect with the red button. In my example this doesnot work.
