32PFL7562D/10 - Only works at low resolution

    Hi all,

I have a 32PFL7562D/10 that was almost no used for a year. When I switched it on again (a couple of weeks ago), I found out that the display is not working as it should: vertical bars in DTV and bad signal when connecting devices through RGB, HDMI, etc (see pictures attached as examples of DTV and Wii)

I've trying different things and found that it only works ok when changing the output signal of Wii to 480p and an external DVD/TDT player to no-HD (first connected though RGB, second to euroconnector)

Any other option (higher resolution, HDMI connection) produces the same display defects.

I have the software version BX31E-0.101.0.0 release for 3rd Spin and I cannot find any newer

    Can you please help?

    THanks

Hi, sorry for insisting, but I still need a solution for this... Can someone advice if this can be solved by a firmware/software upgrade or is it a graphic card issue and therefore needs a repair?

    Hi,

as written in the manual the HDMI-In only supports the following signals (so try one of these):

HD Standard Definition TV (SDTV) 640x480i
    - 720x480i
    - 720x576i
    Enhanced Definition TV (EDTV) 640x480p
    - 720x480p
    - 720x576p
    High Definition TV (HDTV) 1920x1080i
    - 1280x720p

    PC VGA 640x480
    - SVGA 800x600
    - XGA 1024x768

The integrated panel has a resolution of 1366 x 768p.

    Thanks for the reply Toengel.

Unfortunately only 480p resolution works, and not only for HDMI connections, but other connections as well...
In above pictures you can see the type of defect I experience in the TV
Any idea how to solve it?

I still have the same problem in the TV... can anyone help? Should I then send the TV to repair (or buy a new one)?
