Exclamation Old TV: 26PF5411/32PF5411 sound fabric settings?

    Dear Philips,

I got this older TV 26PF5411/32PF5411 and someone else messed with the sound settings and the sound is really unbalanced now. I checked your user manual but didnt find anything to fix this.

Do you have the original fabric settings of the sound for this TV?
In a way that you go to 'menu' > 'sound' > 'equalizer'
    then its says:
    120 Hz
    500 Hz
    1500 Hz
    5 Khz
    10 Khz

I need the balance numbers of these frequenties.

    Thank you in advance!

    Jesper

    Hi Jesper,

For these TVs there is unfortuantely no way to restore the factory settings for sound in an easy way.

The values you list appear to be what the user manual lists as well (fig. 2, page 10). So it seems odd that these values would create an unbalanced sound. Are you using any external devices?

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Hi Ina,

Someone else changed the numbers of a frequency in the equalizer menu. For example: 500Hz, the number was 0 and changed to 15. I didnt see these changes and now everything is messed up and the sound is unbalanced. That's why I'm asking for the original fabric settings of each frequency. So that would be a list of (for example):
    120 Hz : 5
    500 Hz : 10
    and so on..

I need those numbers to restore the balance in the sound again.
(Has nothing to do with external devices, to awnser your question.)

    Thank you in advance,

    Jesper

    Hi Jesper,

Those values would not be part of the user menu, but the service menu. I would advise you to seek assistance from an authorised service centre in this case.

    Best regards,
    Ina
