    i'm using a 55pfl8007 with firmware .89 and newly the .91.
in booth firmwares, pictures come from a mediaserver will not showing. picture not available. but thumbnails will be showing.

with .88 everthing was fine. mediaserver is twonky. music and videos do rightly working.

    Hi westpaket,

What is the file format of the pictures? And you are saying the exact same pictures did display during FW 150.88?

Do you have to possibility of trying with a different media server to see if it is universal? Windows Media Server or perhaps a Smart Phone?

    Best regards,
    Ina

    hi ina,
    thx for ur attention.

i have only jpg formated pictures and i think it depends on the resolution of the pictures.

i have here test wallpapers from microsoft. picture 001.jpg 1600x1200 pixels and is working fine. picture 002.jpg is 2560x1600 pixels (booth 24 bits) and here the tv says: picture not available.

i have this problem with a qnap nas server, a windows media player works fine. also if i use the tv as a digital media renderer booth pictures are showing. twony version is 7.25.1

    regards

    Hi westpaket,

Your Twonky server may be set up as default to transcode images. Try to disable transcoding for pictures in Twonky for your qnap.

    Best regards,
    Ina
