Does Philips hand over TV production section?
Dear All,
If I am not misinterpreting, Philips will no longer be in TV market soon so 7000 owners will probably have to live with pink layer issue. Other words no longer upgrade softwares or NETTV programs..
When they shut it down completely, I wonder what will happen to NETTV servers?
Do you think they have already found a solution?
Here is the news:

Dear tolgaakcan,
Your interpretation is not correct. Please read this thread.
Also the owners of the 7000 series will not have to live with the "pink/transparent layer issue", as we are still working hard for a solution, and it seems that we are almost there.....

Dear Philips,
Thank you for your explanation.. Consumer rights or brand may stay as you say.
Apearances, when an electronic giant to hand over %70 of their share to some other company instantly leaving the right to receive another %30 of the share in a few years time tells me things didn't work out too well for them.
I think there is some problem with the message of the Reuters. I do not perceived the way you have said.
Thanks..
