    Philips AW3000 connection problem

    Gents,

Since 2 day's i'am using a Philips AW3000 wireless speaker. After the installation (which went quite ok) i was able to connect to the speaker via my andriod tablet using airstudio+. Everything works ok and i am content with the spotify integration.

After working for a time suddenly the connection with the speaker interrupts. The Led on the speaker blinks (white color) and the app on the tablet is not able to find the speaker. The app itself is reaction (can open the menu in the right above corner), but cannot reconnect to the speaker.

Only by restarting the speaker (by pulling of the 220V) i'am able to reconnect the speaker and using the app. I think that this isn't a solution. What can i do to solve this problem?

    Dear Castroman,

Please perform these steps to reset the device.

Reset can be used when 1) red light is shown; 2) cannot connect anyhow; other abnormal behaviour seen.

    Steps to reset the device:

    1. Disconnect the speaker from power supply.
    2. Press and holdthePreset 1button. DO NOT release the button.
    3. Keep pressing and holding the Preset 1 button, at the same time connect the speaker to power supply. DO NOT release the button.
    4. The LED light will first flash; then become solid amber, and then flash again. Keeppressing and holdingthe button until the LED light flashes for the second time. Note: It would take around 30 seconds before the LED light flashes for the second time.

    5. When the LED light flashes for the second time, release the button.
    6. Wait for the LED light to become solid amber again. The speaker is now resumed to factory default settings.

Note: After resetting the speaker, you may need to connect the speaker again.

Alternatively, you can reset the speaker via AirStudio App (if the speakers are connected to your mobile device already):

    1. Start AirStudio App.
    2. Go to Service.
    3. Go to Settings.
    4. Select Factory Reset.

Wait for the speaker to reset.

Note: After resetting the speaker, you need to setup connect speaker to your Wi-Fi network again.

If the device still cannot be reset, it is possible that the firmware may be crashed. Please connect the device to the router with internet connection via an Ethernet cable; and then wait for 30-60 minutes for the device to recover itself.

If this fails, please get back to us.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
