    Wireless Headphone with HTB9550D

I consider buying a SHD9200 wireless headphone but I can't find out how to connect it to my HTB9550D system. I'd like to use it not only for TV and DVD but also for CD so using the TV-headphone output is no option.

    Dear wim.vreeswijk,

Thank you for the post on the Support Forum.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to connect the headphones with the HTB.

As you mentioned before, you can still connect to your TV through the 3.5mm AUX connection.

Please, send me the PM in case you need any further help.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,

    Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately I cannot use the connectors at the back of my TV (42PFL7676H/12) because it is mounted too close to the wall. However I noticed that this TV has an optical audio output and with a toslink-coax adapter I expect that I can use the headphone for TV-programs as well as DVD programs.
It would be nice if you could confirm this.
    With kind regards,
    Wim Vreeswijk

    Dear wim.vreeswijk,

It would be possible to connect the SHD9200 to the device via Digital In Coaxial. Please, be aware that digital input only supports PCM (pulse code modulation).

    Kind regards,
    Sarka

    OK, Thanks.
Remains the question: does my TV (42PFL7676H) deliver a PCM signal on the optical output? If so, my problem seems to be solved.

    Dear wim.vreeswijk,

I checked this, and unfortunately, the TV does not support PCM.

But I would recommend you to enable the HDMI ARC (for connection of TV & HTB9550). After you switch the TV on, a sound will come through the HTB9550. Then, you can use optical (PCM) or 3.5mm jack to connect the headphones.

    Kind regards,
    Sarka
