    After last update of AirStudio+ my AW5000 will not work

    Hello, after the last update of AiStudio+ and the last firmware update of the AW5000 nothing is working anymore.
    I can install the AW5000 in AirStudio, but after that the AW5000 cannot be found in AirStudio+, even to operate the AW5000 manual will not work, the led goes from green to white but no sound at all, even when I press the preset buttons.

    So I got stuck with a AW5000 that does not function at all.

    I allready reset the AW5000 to factory settings, uninstall the app and install it again, but nothing seem to work.

    Hope to hear from someone who can help.

    Hmm, that's weird. I've installed SW 580S and see no differences.

    You indicate you've a white LED, so the unit should be connected. That the unit won't work (= play a radio from a PRESET) is correct, as you've done a factory reset. You need once to use the APP and agree to the terms and conditions of Philips via the APP.

    Hope you would be sound in using your router's setup / embedded web-interface --> one thing you could try is to check in your routers connection table what is your AW5000 IP-address. You can identify the AW5000 by just looking for a MAC ID starting with 18:8e:d5:7.:..:..

    Once you did find the AW5000 IP address, you go to a Safari or Google Chrome browser (IE won't work for all functions, like scrolling though long pages) and type in ...

    <IP-ADDRESS of AW5000>:8889/index

    E.g. if the router reports the AW5000 IP is 192.168.178.32 you type in the Google Chrome ...

    192.168.178.32:8889/index

    There are other methods, like using 3rd party SW (if you've an Android phone, you could use a free SW called BubbleUPnP to find and play music).

    Sorry guys it took sooo long to reply.

    Anyhow I did the thing Blechtrottel wrote.
    I found the ip-number and in Firefox the App menu showed up.

    The AW-5000 is working for now, but after a few days I have to reset it again because there is no way the app will find the AW-5000, somehow the connection is not stabble.
