    Ambilight + hue on 47PFL5038H

    Hi,

I'm happy owner of a Hue Starter Kit that i bought few months ago.

Yesterday, i bought a 47PFL5038H (which is awesome btw) and i've installed the "Ambilight + Hue" application on my iPhone but it doesn't seem to work as expected :
    - when i start it, the app correctly detect my Hue bridge and my TV (connected on wifi)
    - I've placed my 3 bulbs on the application screen
    - But when i activate the application, my bulbs are acting weird : it glows alternatively on white and blue with apparently no link with what is actually on the screen (and on the ambilight LEDs).

For example, when i pause my movie the ambilight LEDs behind my TV are correctly stuck in the color of the screen.
But my bulbs are still flickering from white to soft blue.

I tried the following actions :
    - delete and reinstall the "ambilight + hue" application
    - completely shut down the bridge
    - update my TV to the latest firmware
    - i've check that i haven't any other hue related app launched on any of my device
    - i've revoke IFTTT access

Do you have any idea ? Thanks.

    Regards,

    Cyril

    Hi,

    thanks you for the Update.
I have tried it here but was not able to reproduce it.
I have forwarded it to the Dev Team to verify.

    Hi,

I also have an iPad 2 on iOS 6 so i've downloaded the app : same problem, bulbs are flickering.
Here is a short video i've made to show you the problem : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdyIDde4qa0
As you can see, the image on my tv stands still but my bulbs are changing colors with no reason.

    Hi Thomas,

Still no news about my issue ? I'm a bit disappointed, i specially bought a ambilight enabled philips tv in order to pair it with my hue bulbs.
