46PFL8007K/12 and SCART
Hello, I have 46PFL8007K/12 and I would like to connect HD set-top-box with dual HD tuner. I see on TV much smaller SCART connector comparing to those I knew in past. Do you know how it is called and if it's somehow standardized? I need cable with such little connector on one side and I guess regular (big one) on the other side.

One more question - is the number of the pins on small SCART different comparing to big one? Means some signals are not transferred comparing to regular big SCART.

Per, I'm currently not at home so I cannot check what was exactly in my box of 46PFL8007K/12, but looking at the datasheet here I think it is not in the box. That's why I asked if I can get more info. I can even explain bit more. If I record any TV program, I cannot switch to another channel. That's why I was thinking maybe to buy HD capable set-top-box which has 2 tuners + USB where I can connect USB harddisk. Or how else to solve it? DVD player/Blue Ray player with USB interface and 2 tuners?

HD set-top-boxes have normally HDMI connectors. But I almost sure this cable is supplied with the TV, because this is not a standard cable. There is no space for a full size SCART on the back of the TV.
Normally you can do recording to an usb-stick from the set-top-box and watch another channel on the TV, using the TV tuner. But the recording done on the set-top-box can normally only be played from the box. (protected file)

HI,
the TV uses a Scart Adapter which is fully compatible to the "normal" Scart.
The Adapter was in the Box.
If not, please contact your local Retailer or Support to get one.
Best Regards
