    DCM 580 and ios7

I have the latest firmware (V45) installed.
Things work fine with ios6 devices, but not so with ios7, both with iphone 4 and 4S.
The phone connects and charges just fine, but does not play any music.
Will there be an update for ios7? It would be a pity to not being able to use the tower anymore...

    Dear Mika23,

What does it show when playing the songs from phone? The sound comes from the phone or no sound output at all?

As per the testing results of the team, it works with iOS 7 devices.

Please can you confirm these questions?:
1/ did you try power reset?
2/ did you try using another music player?
3/ did you try closing all background app?
4/ did you try adjusting volume on phone/ adjusting volume of the set?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team

I have the same problem : my DCM580 doesn't work with my iPhone 4 with iOS7 (it worked before with iOS6).
When you connect the iPhone to the DCM580, the display indicate "iPhone/iPod" but no sound come from the DCM, the sound is coming from the iPhone.
I try all the points Sarka has given to mika23, but nothing change.

Yes I have rebooted my phone but nothing change.
When I connect my phone on the DCM and I let it on the dock, it always beep (each 10 sec) as I connect it on the DCM for the first time....

For information : before I have updated my DCM (V45), I had the same problem after upgrading iOS6

    Dear niko57,

Disconnect and reconnect the AC power plug, then turn on the unit again.

If the issue persists please refer your device to a service centre.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
