Unable to connect laptop to TV via HDMI
Hi,
I'm using a 1.4 HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my 32PFL5605 .. however the TV keeps showing 'no signal' eventhough I've added the device through the setup screen. I've taken delivery of my LG and Philips LED the same time, HDMI connection to LG was easy but I just couldn't get the same done to this Philips LED TV. Could anyone help or provides me a clue?
Tks.

Hi,
first you should install the latest firmware on your TV. Then I suggest to set up the TV screen as primary display on your notebook. Then you could try a different HDMI input on your TV. If you set up the HDMI input in your TV try to select e.g. Blu-ray or something different from PC.

Toengel ,
hi, thanks for the response.
I'll try to create the connection as 'Blu-Ray' tonight and give it a go..
As to update the fw, this 32PFL5605 has no online connection (network), please advice how can I upgrade the firmware?

Hi,
regarding firmware update... go to the support web site of your tv - there is a section for the firmware. There is also a readme file with step by step instructions...
