Question CSS7235Y/12: Issue with voice (dialogues) not being played correctly

    Hi,

I recently bought a Philips Fidelio E5. Great product, works almost always like a charm!
However, when I watch a movie in surround mode (with the wireless speakers behind me in a 4.1 setup) sometimes the voice of the actors is played through the back speakers and sometimes not. This also changes during sentences, which is very annoying.
I was told this was because of the 'missing' center speaker. I thought the TV would act like the center speaker in this particular case?
Can anyone give me an explanation on this?

    Thanks a lot!

    Ciao,
    Jos

    Dear Jos,

TV speaker will not act as center speaker as it is meant to work on its own as an audio system.

Also, can you please let me know the audio format of the movie you are playing, multi-channel or stereo? Which input source is it using?

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team
