    Connecting laptop with tv

    Hi all,

I have a Philips Cineos 42PFL9632D/10 and i cant connect it with my Acer aspire 6920 laptop anymore. Please note that both have been connected together for the last 6 months and everything worked fine. From one day to the other the Tv says no Video signal and cant connect them anymore.

The laptop connects with any other Tv apart from my one. I took it to the Philips dealer, they upgraded the firmware, tried my laptop on the spot and still nothing. The have also tried another laptop and didnt connect. Note that when i connect DVD player and a digital stb on my TV with HDMI it works fine. The technician said "Cant do anything else, i dont know what is happening"

I have changed HDMI cables, tried all the 3 different HDMI ports on my TV and it will not recognise my laptop. How weird, my laptop works with all the TVs apart from mine. And my Tv recognises all the other HDMI consoles apart from my laptop.

    Please help.................

    Hi conmarstef,

What happens when you connect your laptop?

What connection type are you using?

Please ensure the laptop is set up for a supported display resolution. You can find these in the user manual on page 40:
