    Thank you, Ina.

As I said, I am a new user of Media Player HMP7100/12.
I am quite satisfaced with HMP7100 but I have a big complaint.
    Let me expose my environment:
A DLNA and USB TV, a Sinology NAS server, and a five years old USB media player.
I have bought HMP because I wanted a certified DVIX media player and improve the network capability to play media files. Something better that a limited DLNA service.

With HMP, USB service is correct.
DLNA service in correct.More or less the same of my TV.
    Very good image quality.

But when I tried to play via SAMBA, it has a very big problem, at least, for me. The file list appears unsorted in all directory level except first one.
Al least you have very few files, it could be painfull to locate a file. If you try to play a series sudirectory it doesn't follow the logical order.

I think this is a important bug and should be fix ASAP.

    I have some sugestions:

1.- Should be fine to implement some page up/page down facility to navegate through file list. I think this feature must be easy to implement and this would avoid a slow motion through a long list of files .

2.- Setup a wireless connection didn't work very fine. I have to enter ten times the wireless password. I have to retype the whole password each time and it is not easy to retype it with the virtual keyboard or remote control keys. Would be good to keep visible the key to check and correct it if necessary instead to erase it and force it back to full retype.
    n
3.- I don't know if it is my problem but I never connect via wireless to first intent. I allways have to retry. Would be good also if the conection/reconection window doesn't hide the network icon. Network icon shows if the connection have been established. I have the wireless router to half meter away so I have no problem of connection quality. No problem with cable connection.

4.- One disappointment. When I read that it played ISO files I expected behavior as a dvd player with menus and scene selection, not a simple reproduction of the unzipped VOB files. A real disappointment

    Other long term suggestions:

An on/off button would be good in order to follow the save energy policy.
Improve the remote control. It looks very delicated.

Please, get this message to HMP7100 support sevice, if iti is possible.

Long exposure, sorry. Excuse my bad English.

    Best regards.

    Hi!

Today I've bought a HMP 7100 media player.

The playback of the product is good. It swiftly plays nearly any format.

    I've got only two problems:

    - the menus are a bit slow (this doesnt bother me very much)

    - the iso playback is very problematic (no menu)

Altogether its a fine hardware at this price range.

Also I would like to ask that how can i set up 3D playback properly for BD-3D iso? After I open the ISO file, it begins to play every file in the ISO. After a while it finally finds the movie itself, but at that point I cant change any setting. Including sound, subtitles, 3D. How should I play BD 3D iso formats properly? How can I enable 3D? (I've tried everything in the book - so to speak.)

    Thank you for your reply!

Hi I have just bought a HMP7100 as a replacement for my rather slow WDTV Live Media Player. I have a 2TB external hard drive connected, and access to all my media files seems excellent on the HMP7100. On the WDTV Live I had access to the external hard drive from my network so that I was able to synchronise that drive from my PC with an identical 2TB drive within a NAS, as it was shared in the network through the WD. I was therefore devastated to find that the USB hard drive is not shared on the network through the HMP7100 so I cannot synchronise the two hard drives. This makes updating my media files far more tedious. Will the firmware be upgraded to allow sharing of the USB drive over the network?
Also I was using a USB hub on my WD to allow for connection of the Hard drive and 2 USB wireless dongles for external keyboard and mouse. If I connect the hub to the HMP7100 I get a message that the hardware is unsupported. This is rather limiting and restricts me to using the remote for keyboard input.
I do hope that these limitations are going to be addressed in future as otherwise the hardware meets most of my needs very well.
    Thanks for your reply.

No idea, I'm afraid - nothing about it in the manual.
