Hi, updated the fw to 173.44 and TV was working fine (no problems encountered, yet) till today. It kept turning itself to standby every few minutes, from as little as 2 minutes to 5minutes.

Thought it was settings problem so I set sleep and off to zero minutes and maximum 240 minutes but didn't work. Activated factory reset, didn't work either.

Ploughed through this forum and seems like its the signature of this fw. Can Philips please solve this problem asap?

    Hello Wonbi,

Try to take of the powercord for 2 or 3 minutes! Then start your TV and wait some minutes more until it started completely...

Most problems are solved this way! I had the same problem with this - turning off by itself issue... Taking off the powerord solved it!

    Regards,
    Jarno

    Hello Wonbi,

Good news to hear that your problem is solved!!

I own a 47PFL6008K/12 since 10 dec. 2013. I needed to take of the powercord (reset) two times untill now.

Once because the TV start turning off by itself and once because
the TV start changing the TV channels by itself. So just two times in two months...

Don't forget to take of the powercord after you made a software upgrade in future!! They are telling (i dont know why) that it is neccesairy to complete the upgrade!

    Regards,
    Jarno
