    Hi Kenchi.

    Welcome to the TV forum.

Your TV does not support the DTS audio codec, which is why you are getting the message.

DTS is only supported in our 2013 models from the 7000 series and up.

    Best regards,
    Ina

Thank you for your reply. Is there any way the TV or my HTS9140 can be upgraded tu play such videos, because it seems they are quite common.

On the other hand are there any programs to change the audio format to a playable one?

    Thank you.

    Hi Kenchi,

DTS is the equivalent of Dolby Digital, which your TV does support.

You merely need to ensure the files are coded with a supported audio codec rather than DTS.

You can find the list of supported audio codec in the user manual on page 60:
    http://philips.to/1hR3cZn

There are a varity of file conversation software available on the market.

    Best regards,
    Ina

    Unhappy

    Hi Ina,

It was a long i didn't react on the forum but it's time to repeat it's a nonsense TV doesn't support DTS.
It's not acceptable as long as all BRDisc use DTS, almost DVD also...
At least TV should be abble to forward DTS signal through SPDIF optical output (passthrough).
I still cannot believe Philips marketing decisions... I feel very sad, it's really amazing loosing customers for marketing reasons...
