OK, I know this problem has been bugging many of us for a while now. But I have a solution that works. Firstly I have stopped using the wireless connection and switched to the wired ethernet port on my AW9000s (make sure you can run an ethernet cable directly to your router). This requires a factory reset from the AirStudio+ app. I then connected my TV digital audio optical output to the AW9000 digital optical in. Now everything WORKS in time with no delay! The Airstudio+ app works almost instantly now when playing songs or changing volume. TV stays synced with audio when I switch back to it. Great! I have been testing it for an hour now.
