UPDATE : TO MY PRV TOPIC:TV not responding to RC: model no:32PFL7977/V7

    Dear friends,

Since my previous thread, Topic: TV not responding to RC: model no:32PFL7977/V7 (http://www.supportforum.philips.com/...o-32PFL7977-V7) is "CLOSED", I am giving an update in this new thread.

Last week, after considering all available options, I consented to have the hardware replaced, as suggested by my local Philips authorised service team. The authorised service staffs, visited my place and replaced the Remote Sensor hardware. The TV is working fine so far. It has been only one week but there has been no recurrence of that complaints. The problem seems to have been resolved.

I must mention here that my local Philips TV service team staff have been understanding and helpfull. A Thank you to them.

And a word of praise for this forum team. Even though this forum is beyond the ambit of my region, I understand this forum team have taken the care to rope in/alert my regional team and I am grateful for that.

    Seasons Greetings & Happy Holidays!

    Regards.
