It's a shame that the app is not available.

An alternative is to use it through the browser, entering http://nettv.radiotime.com/.

This website works like the app, and can also be accessed from any PC. Some radios are not compatible and do not reproduce, but others work perfectly on my Smart TV 32PFL6606.

    Regards!

It works and it can be added to favourites after having closed it (yellow button of the remote). I'm really happy, altough I must verify if all radios are present...

Another fine alternative is Phonostar (Germany apps) but without search options, without podcasts, with reduced channels.

    Thank you very much !!!!!

In any case it is strange that this famous app has been dismissed without any notice.

Do you know other nettv websites compatible with Philips net tv? Please list them !!!!!

For example, I'm lookin for a fine Chess (found something working, but not very fine... if interested, ask me)

Hi Samuele, unfortunately I don’t know other NetTV websites.

I have just the website of TuneIN (ce.radiotime.com also works), which I copied from the application information, when it was still available on NetTV.

I remember that one or two years ago, TuneIn was withdrawn, and soon they included it again.

    Regards!

    Hi,

the company behind "tune in" is responsible for making an app... Ask them to make a new one...

    Hi,

for what we know at the moment, the company, responsible for the app is not interested in a short-term solution. Means, there will be no app on a short periode of time.
If you ask me, i would not be surprising if we wont see tunein back on smart tv.

For complaints about that, please contact tunein directly. (as Toengel already mentioned)

I doubt that such a big company (TuneIn) would risk to lose old lients or gain new ones for the tiny reason of not being able to build a linux software for Philips smart TV. Or, the Philips TV is not anymore a worthy partner, commercially speaking!

IMHO Samsung is making an hidden war to get exclusive contents and apps, trying to obtain by far the best smart tv in the market.

TUNE IN is now represented in the link below as an app only for Samsung and Panasonic. Due to the simple content of the app (mp3 sources list and a search option) there aren't technical issues but probably an esclusive contract between the two TV producers.....

    http://tunein.com/get-tunein/

In the next generation TVs Philips will introduce Android apps compatibility.
Do you know the price of a fast android device for your TV with wi-fi, powerful browser with java, etc, and a lot of open and free apps ? 50 Euros.
So this is the real market value of smart TV services of which we are talking about.

I have already made that comparison, you can put at least 10 Android MiniPC like mk808, 809, 908... into a 2000 euro Philips TV and still remains a lot of money to develop other things related to TV ! A single mk809 dual-core at 1.5 ghz connected with HDMI to TV is just like a rocket compared to built-in Smart platform of Philips. I very much doubt that we'll see android on Philips, or we'll see another fail of customized android...
