    [BDP9700] Covers in FLAC files

    Hi,

does anyone have FLAC files, where the BDP9700 can display the cover image during playing the file?

I tried via DLNA and USB. I tried 500x500 pixel. But nothing is working.

    @Philips
    1. Are covers supported via FLAC files (USB and DLNA)?
    2. What is the maximum supported resolution of the cover images? What is the maximum supported size of the cover images?

    Thanks for support,

    Toengel@Alex

    Dear Toengel,

    Here are the answers:

    1. As long as the server supports or exposes the album covers then it should be displayed by the BDP9700.
    2. We don’t specify the maximum resolution/size. It’s best to keep the size to standard ones 100x100 pixels to 200x200 pixels.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team

    Hi,

covers are working on all other devices (Android, PC) but not on BDP9700.

I've also tried flac over, serviio, xbmc and squeezecenter ( logitech) with negative result. no image shown.
I would love a smart-tv function or a rebuild menu system to show covers för both flac, mkv and all medias on the server or usb.
Perhaps Philips own media library organizer as a "smart tv app"
BubbleUPNP is really great btw, tnx for the tip.

I can show FLAC cover images on all other devices than bdp9700. Even a three year old cheap Sony-tv. I'm using a Synology NAS as source. Why?
