Hi All, do you please know somebody if is there any progress with this issue? Any solution - HW / SW upgrade ? I have Philips 55PFL7108k/12 and skype call "clicking" all the time on opposite site. If I am speaking on opposite site, its OK, but if I am listening only its clicking all the time.

    Regards

    Roman, Czech

The solution is to contact your local customer support to arrange a service for your TV. It is a hardware issue with the Skype camera/mic module needs to be replaced.

This is a known hardware problem that Philips is trying to play down, you will need a technician to come and change the microphone or get the unit replaced. I waited for six months, and after a nummber of software upgrades and two visits by Philips technicians in Stockholm, Sweden they finally took the TV back and credited the full amount. I would be careful inbuying any of the 2013 7008/7108/8008 models, 46 or 57 inch screens.

The reseller decided to take back the 7008 TV as the Philips (NEISA) technician couldn't fix the problem after two service visits in my home. Very interesting case as I asked for a replacement TV - and the dealer refused since the 2014 models are much more expensive, especially if I want the 3-sided Ambilight and the built-in Skype camera. What a poor service - even though I got my Money back, I am not happier without the TV and the cost of finding a new one.
