HTS4562 no surround on rear speakers with rwss5510

I asked this question before, but I failed to answer a question of a representative (not logged in too often). Sorry for that. The issue was that I lost functionality of my rear speakers through the RWSS5510 wireless remote.
I checked if the RWSS and the HTS were paired (they were, the HTS shows 'paired'). The blue antenna symbol on the RWSS is lit.
When running the sound test, the rear speakers do not make noise, but they did not do that with SW 1.47 either. When playing a Blue-Ray with 5.1 sound, the speakers worked (with 1.47, not with 1.52). IIRC sound test worked only with SW1.27, the on screen image there showed 7.1 speakers instead of 5.1.
I plugged the speakers directly into the HTS, and took out the transmitter part of the RWSS. The speakers both were working.
I came back to this topic because I saw SW version 1.59 was released. Upgrading the HTS4562/12 to 1.59 was successful, but the issue remained.
I was asked (but failed to respond) on the RX and TX version of the RWSS. According to the HTS this is:
    RX V 13.01
    TX V 13.01

    Best regards,

    Peter

    Dear Team,

That has (of course) already been tried. Did it a few times during the last few days, used AUX1 as well as AUX2. PAIRED displayed almost immediately after pressing and holding the navigation key. Pressing and holding the navigation key again, resulted in blinking 'PAIRING', then in 'FAILED', and 'CHECK RX'. Repeating the procedure (powering down the HTS, pulling the plug on the receiver, etc.) showed 'PAIRED' again, but still no sound on the rear speakers after reconnecting them. The blue antenna symbol on the receiver is lit, so I presume that the distance between transmitter and receiver is not too much (approx 6m).

    Best regards,

    Peter
