Pauses between tracks in Mini Philips MCM2150/12

    Hi!

I have just bought a Stereo Mini Philips MCM2150/12, and I have just realised that using the CD or MP3 player there is always a small pause in the sound among tracks.

This is really annoying when listening to my collection of classical music or progressive-rock CD´s (a lot of them with connected tracks through continuous sound)

Is there any way of solving it or should I change the product?

    Thank you very much!

    Dear Tolodamadeira,

How long (in seconds) is the delay between tracks?

    Kind regards,

It is around one second, or even a little bit less, 0,8 s. of silence.

It seems like if the CD or MP3 needed some time for "loading" or "reaching" the next track.

    Thanks!

    Dear Tolodamadeira,

This is a normal behaviour of the equipment and a design feature so I won't be able to help you on this one.

    Please accept my apologies.

    Kind regards,
    Philips Moderation Team

Ok! Thank you very much anyway.

In any case, I think this is an important point to take into account in the future.

The overall quality of the equipment is good, and I consider it offers a very high quality-price ratio, but "flaws" like this are really a pity and make the product not suitable for a lot of users (like it is my case)

    Kind regards.

    Hi!
I'm sorry to post in this thread but I really couldn't find my way around to start a new topic.
In the specifications of the sound system MCM2150/12, it says that USB playback supports up to 999 tracks. Is this the total number of tracks supported or it can recognize up to 999 tracks per folder (of the 99 maximum folders)?
    Thanks!
